Roy Berkin

Roy Berkin is an experienced project management professional with more than 10 years of experience within the healthcare sector, working alongside clinical and non-clinical staff in Western Australia and nationally to deliver projects of strategic significance.

Roy specialises in the review, establishment and management of complex program management offices for both public and private sector clients.

Roy also has strong experience in the quantitative analysis of hospital data and has led the analysis for multiple productivity engagements for hospitals across Western Australia and around Australia.

Relevant Experience:

• Led multiple quantitative diagnostic and benchmarking reviews of public and not-for-profit (‘NFP’) hospitals and hospital groups, encompassing activity, costing, financial and workforce data, to identify and implement opportunities for performance improvement across corporate, inpatient, emergency and ambulatory services
• Led the mobilisation and operation of an Integrated Program Management Office for the transition of a privately operated hospital to state-managed operations and delivery of a multiyear infrastructure expansion
• Led the implementation of the new Service Delivery Model for a shared service provider and the design and documentation of new business processes across the functions of payroll, rostering and human resources as part of the implementation of a new Human Resources Management Information System
