Sean Qiao

Sean Qiao has over ten years of experience advising multinational companies and investors as they have undergone significant transitions. Areas of Mr. Qiao’s experience include transaction advisory, turnaround & restructuring, and investment banking & capital solutions.

Mr. Qiao has led and participated in a wide range of transactions across the entire investment lifecycle. He has served as an advisor on all aspects of M&A transactions, including identification of acquisition targets, analysis of financial and operational synergies, due diligence, buy and sell side mandates, and capital raising. His experience not only covers strategic and financial planning prior to the transaction close, but also post-merger integration and business transformation to help investors implement investment strategies. His diversified experience makes him a unique advisor to assist investors in making investment decisions and realizing expected returns. Some of the private equity investors and lenders that Mr. Qiao has worked with include TPG, Fortress, Apollo, Chatham Asset Management, Platinum Equity, Antares, BNP Paribas, Goldman Sachs, etc.

Mr. Qiao is also experienced in advising companies and creditors in corporate restructurings with responsibilities including business plan review and development, cash flow forecasting and management, development and preparation of Plans of Reorganization, identification and implementation of cost reductions, and distressed assets marketing and sales.

Mr. Qiao holds a B.S. in Finance from the Sun Yat-sen University and an M.B.A from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is also a CFA charterholder, a Certified Insolvency & Restructuring Advisor, and a Certified Financial Planning and Analysis Professional. He is fluent in Mandarin and English.
