Shrikant Shelat

Shrikant Shelat is a member of the Office of the CFO Solutions practice, specializing in finance IT. Mr. Shelat has more than 10 years of experience managing, assessing and selecting cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning (“ERP”) systems, as well as managing implementation, business process improvement, IT due diligence and data migration validation and review engagements across multiple industries.

Mr. Shelat leads assessment and optimization workstreams within Finance IT and helps clients assess their finance technology stack to ensure they meet current and future business needs. By leveraging technology, he supports CFOs in solving business problems such as visibility into working capital and paper-based accounts payable processes. Mr. Shelat helps clients develop strategic IT roadmaps and blueprints and provides recommendations to optimize their enterprise IT systems.

Mr. Shelat has worked with clients to enhance core financial and supply chain business processes, including order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and inventory and warehouse management, as well as demand and supply planning using Robotics Process Automation (“RPA”).

Mr. Shelat has managed and led several engagements for ERP and Customer Relationship Management (“CRM”) system implementations like NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics AX, Oracle Cloud ERP and SalesForce. He has served as a Solutions Architect to CFOs and controllerships and has managed data integrations using platforms like Dell Boomi, Celigo and Informatica between NetSuite ERP and other platforms such as Salesforce, Coupa, Concur and Avalara. Mr. Shelat’s experience includes project management, leading business requirements, holding workshops to understand business processes and systems, defining a data analysis framework to gauge data quality and developing data transformation scripts in SQL and Excel. He is skilled in application design and architecture, as well as Master Data Management (“MDM”).

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Shelat was a Manager in the Business Applications practice of Grant Thornton, where he assisted clients in the pharmaceutical, manufacturing, wholesale distribution, retail, software, insurance, construction and professional services industries.
