Shrikant Shelat

Shrikant Shelat is a member of the Office of the CFO Solutions (“OCFO”) practice, specializing in finance IT. Mr. Shelat has nearly 20 years of experience managing, assessing and implementing cloud-based enterprise resource planning (“ERP”) systems, as well as leading implementations, business process improvement, IT due diligence and data migration validation and review across industries.

Mr. Shelat leads finance process and technology selection, assessment and optimization workstreams within OCFO, helping clients improve finance operations and align systems with business needs. He supports CFOs in addressing challenges such as billing and revenue accuracy, performance visibility, working capital and system-driven controls. He also develops IT roadmaps and system blueprints to optimize enterprise architecture.

Mr. Shelat has worked with clients to enhance financial and supply chain processes, including order-to-cash, procure-to-pay and inventory and warehouse management, using ERP systems such as NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics and SAP S/4HANA. He has also supported finance processes including accounts payable, treasury, cash application and collections, customer relationship management (“CRM”), contract configuration, pricing and quoting (“CPQ”), revenue recognition under Accounting Standards Codification (“ASC”) 606, close management and financial reporting, including profitability analytics. In addition, he has served as an enterprise and solution architect to CFOs, revenue operations and controllership teams, leveraging automation, digital and artificial intelligence (“AI”) capabilities while managing cross-platform data integrations.

Mr. Shelat’s experience includes project management, business requirements, solution design and blueprinting and business process mapping. He is also skilled in application design, architecture and master data management (“MDM”).

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Shelat worked with Grant Thornton and Infosys, supporting clients across manufacturing, insurance, services, software and retail industries.

Relevant Experience:

• Led client initiatives to enhance core financial processes, including revenue recognition, recurring and subscription billing, project accounting, close management, fixed assets and financial reporting and consolidation
• Led assessments, system selection, design and implementation engagements for platforms including NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP and Salesforce CPQ/Revenue Cloud across manufacturing, software as a service (“SaaS”), healthcare and media and telecommunications clients
• Worked with platforms including Coupa, Ariba, HighRadius, Ramp, Kyriba, BillTrust and GetPaid to support finance process automation and optimization
• Served as an enterprise architect to CFOs, revenue operations and controllership teams, optimizing customer, product, contract and order data models across Salesforce Service Cloud, ERP systems and proprietary platforms
• Worked with middleware and data management platforms including Dell Boomi, Celigo and Informatica
• Applied expertise in application design and architecture, as well as data governance and MDM
