Simon Chandler has over 33 years of experience in construction across a broad range of sectors and specializes in expert witness evidence, dispute resolution, claims preparation, assessment and rebuttal.
Mr. Chandler is a chartered surveyor and a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He is also a member of the New Zealand Institute of Quantity Surveyors.
Mr. Chandler has been based in Dubai for the last 14 years and has worked extensively throughout the Gulf Cooperative Council (GCC) Countries. Mr. Chandler holds dual qualifications in quantity surveying and construction law.
Mr. Chandler has gained experience working for developers, contractors, sub-contractors and consultants. He has expertise in all matters contractual, commercial, and claims related across all sectors of the construction industry including; infrastructure, high-rise, transport, power, oil & gas, and petrochemical.
Mr. Chandler has been instructed as a quantum expert on multiple international arbitrations which included the requirement for oral testimony and cross examination. He has further experience in Adjudication, Mediation and Dispute Adjudication Boards (DABs).
