Sofi Daar

Sofi Daar provides real estate advisory services for a variety of purposes, such as litigation support, estate planning, workouts and restructurings, investment strategy and due diligence, as well as underwriting, financial reporting, and acquisitions and dispositions. Ms. Daar’s clients include real estate investment trusts (“REITs”), developers, high-net-worth individuals, financial institutions, government entities and corporations, spanning many standard and specialized commercial property types.

Ms. Daar is a designated commercial real estate appraiser by the Appraisal Institute, regularly performing appraisal reports and advising counsel in complex litigation cases. She also provides transaction advisory and asset-management-related services in corporate bankruptcies and restructurings.

Prior to FTI Consulting, Ms. Daar was a Manager with CohnReznick LLP, first in New York City and then in Los Angeles, where she helped manage the firm’s national team of appraisers and performed various appraisal services across the country. She began her career as an Associate Appraiser with Metropolitan Valuation Services in New York City, appraising billions of dollars of real estate portfolios for acquisitions and refinancings within New York City.

Ms. Daar has received a number of educational awards, such as the Vidda Foundation Named Merit Scholarship, the Ward H. Dennis Merit Scholarship and a Certificate of Excellence in Language Studies with the Alpha Mu Gamma Honor’s Society.
