Suzanne Alcock has advised clients operating in a wide range of sectors including real estate, energy, hospitality, retail and consumer products. She advises corporate occupiers and investors on all capital allowances and land remediation relief issues arising during the lifecycle of assets, including providing assumptions for financial modelling purposes, optimizing and accelerating capital allowances tax relief and risk management. Suzanne also works collaboratively with HMRC.
Suzanne has worked with clients including FTSE 100 businesses, multi-national companies and investment funds establishing entitlement to claim and identifying expenditure qualifying for tax relief. She applies her construction technology knowledge and overlays this with her detailed understanding of tax legislation and case law to produce robust claims to support tax filing positions.
Suzanne has extensive experience of advising on capital allowances implications arising on share and asset deals and working with Corporate Finance structuring in UK transactions and asset acquisitions.
Suzanne holds a B.Sc. (Hons) degree in commercial management and quantity surveying from the University of Manchester. Suzanne is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS) and a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. She is also a Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) and a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation.
