Taahir Kerbelker

Taahir Kerbelker is an experienced professional and leader in digital strategy and transformation with more than a decade of tier-1 consulting experience. Taahir has served in leadership roles across the largest digital programs and initiatives within Australia and globally, in both an advisory and delivery capacity.

With a strong passion for contributing to the continuous improvement of Australia’s healthcare system, Taahir has worked on a number of Western Australia’s major and most complex programs, in both private and public health.

Taahir’s expertise spans both strategy and execution, including strategy development, transformation, executive advisory, program restructures, program management, stakeholder management and capability uplift.

Whilst predominantly focused on digital health, Taahir also brings prior market expertise in energy and mining. In the energy sector, Taahir managed a global portfolio of peer-to-peer (‘P2P’) energy trading and Virtual Power Plant (‘VPP’) programs. This involved collaborating across international markets, including Thailand, Japan and Austria, leveraging innovative energy technologies with the objective of improving the energy marketplace.

With a proven track record across multiple sectors, Taahir continues to make a significant impact through his strategic leadership, advisory expertise and dedication to continuous improvement.

Relevant Experience:

• Advised C-Suite executives and boards on major healthcare initiatives, including Western Australia Health’s HealthNext cloud migration, Human Resources Management Information System (‘HRMIS’) Payroll and Rostering, Medical Imaging Replacement Program and Electronic Medical Records (‘EMR’)
• Conducted several public and private sector digital portfolio and program reviews to optimise strategic investments and delivery pathways and advised on cost-reduction strategies
• Led the implementation of critical digital healthcare solutions, including Western Australia Health’s COVID-19 contact tracing solution and several nationwide front- and back-office digital and business transformations
• Drove large-scale digital and business transformation initiatives at large health insurances providers and oversaw technology product development and deployments across international energy providers, such as P2P and VPP programs
• Directed strategic planning strategies at the largest mining organisation in the world to optimise long-term mine-to-port operations and efficiency
• Delivered complex programs across industries, enhancing operational performance, digital capability and customer engagement
