Tim McClean is a Managing Director at FTI Consulting. He is a member of the Economic and Financial Consulting practice and is based in London. He has ten years of professional experience, and for the past eight years has worked on matters involving valuation, financial analysis, and economics.
Since December 2011, Tim has assisted with the preparation of expert evidence in international arbitrations and commercial litigations. Typically, this has involved business valuation or the quantification of lost profits. His recent industry experience includes oil and gas, consumer goods and financial services. Tim also has experience in a number of arbitrations involving long term natural gas supply contracts in continental Europe.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Tim was part of the Corporate Finance practice of PwC in Auckland, having previously worked in its Tax practice.
Tim has Law and Commerce degrees from the University of Otago in New Zealand. He was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the New Zealand High Court in November 2008 and is a CFA Charterholder.
