Vidhi Talreja

Vidhi Talreja has more than 20 years of public accounting experience, focused exclusively in the real estate industry. Ms. Talreja specializes in providing tax consulting and compliance services to private real estate companies, real estate opportunity funds and real estate investment trusts (“REITs”). She also assists clients in partnership and corporate taxation, including ASC 740 tax provisions.

Ms. Talreja has expertise in many sectors of real estate, including office, industrial, hospitality, healthcare, self-storage and multifamily REITs. In addition, she brings extensive experience in international tax compliance related to foreign investment in U.S. real property, including Foreign Investment in Real Property Tax Act (“FIRPTA”) and other withholding issues.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Ms. Talreja was an assistant manager in the compliance division at HSBC Securities and Capital Markets in India. In this role, she provided compliance support to the corporate finance business unit that worked on M&A and IPOs, among other matters, which included interacting with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (“SEBI”). Preceding this position, Ms. Talreja worked in the tax compliance group at RSM & Co., a public accounting firm.
