Xiaoli Gui

Xiaoli Gui brings nearly 25 years of experience in e-discovery, supporting clients with complex data challenges and applying technology to deliver rapid insight and defensible workflows in legal and regulatory matters. Ms. Gui is an expert in emerging data sources, data breach response, analytics and a wide range of disputes and investigations across industries and cross-border in the United States, Asia, Europe and the Middle East.

Ms. Gui’s experience includes supporting clients with all aspects of discovery and document review during high-stakes Second Requests and other antitrust matters. She serves as an advisor for discovery workflows and implements artificial intelligence and analytics to improve efficiencies for matters involving large volumes of documents and data types spanning cloud systems, mobile devices, chat applications and other non-traditional data sources. Ms. Gui supports clients in rapidly identifying trends and patterns within document sets to provide early and comprehensive understanding of key issues to inform case strategy.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Ms. Gui was a litigation support and e-discovery project manager at Williams & Connolly. She has held numerous positions in e-discovery and litigation support at variety of consultancies and law firms.

• Lead and manage litigation matters centered on social media and user-generated content, providing strategic oversight informed by a strong technical understanding of how platform data is generated, preserved, analyzed and produced
• Supported a large-scale cross-border corruption investigation, coordinating document review across the United States, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and implemented workflow solutions that addressed complex data challenges while reducing costs and improving efficiency
