Following an internal investigation, the company engaged FTI Consulting to perform an in-depth review of its procure-to-pay (“P2P”) process, assess vulnerabilities and enhance internal controls to mitigate fraud risks and support sustainable growth.

Our Role
- FTI Consulting conducted a comprehensive assessment of the P2P process, including vendor onboarding, disbursement review and reconciliation procedures, to identify control weaknesses and fraud risk indicators.
- Our experts held interviews across the procurement, finance and accounts payable functions to uncover misalignments between policies and operational practices.
- We developed enhanced procurement and third-party due diligence policies, supported by benchmarking and targeted recommendations across travel and expenses, anti-corruption and delegation of authority.
- Our experts advised on scalable control enhancements, including automated workflows, vendor file oversight and documentation standards and delivered compliance training to facilitate the adoption of the enhancements and a change in company culture around compliance overall.
