FTI Consulting assisted Kumul Petroleum to design and implement a comprehensive ESG framework that met IFRS S2 climate-based financial disclosure requirements and satisfied lender ESG credit scorecard criteria, critical to securing funding for its major gas projects.
Our Impact

- We supported Kumul Petroleum to reshape its ESG and sustainability approach, enabling compliance with financial institutions and credit rating agencies’ expectations when securing funding for major upstream and downstream oil and gas investments.

- We delivered a holistic ESG advisory service, combining a greenhouse gas emissions review and a climate financial impact assessment and an evaluation of social and governance initiatives.
- We provided end-to-end support across climate-based financial disclosures, including materiality assessment, carbon accounting, climate risk and opportunity analysis, scenario analysis modelling and financial impact assessment, while also strengthening Kumul’s social and people responsibilities and governance frameworks across the organisation.
