Seagen is a global biotechnology company that discovers, develops and commercializes transformative cancer medicines. In March 2023, Pfizer and Seagen announced that they had entered into a definitive merger agreement under which Pfizer would acquire Seagen. After merger reviews by competition authorities around the world, on December 14, 2023, Pfizer completed its $43 billion acquisition of Seagen — the largest M&A deal in biopharma since 2019.
