FTI Consulting sponsored the annual antitrust enquiries conference organised by Concurrences review and Mayer Brown, which included representatives from the French Competition Authority (Autorité de la Concurrence) and the General Directorate for Competition, Consumer Affairs and Antifraud (DGCCRF).
Thomas Sely, head of the Paris Forensic Technology practice, took part in a panel discussing the penalties for obstruction during dawn raids and requests for information. He emphasized the significant role that electronic data plays in competition investigations and the importance of companies taking their IT and data systems into account when cooperating with investigators.
