Southern Africa Outlook 2021
February 09, 2021
In this webinar, FTI Consulting's Paula Armstrong and a group of panelists share their insights on the economic recovery and the importance of youth employment across African countries and the long and short terms effects of Covid-19.
The economies of Southern Africa offer a diversity of human and natural resources that have the potential to yield inclusive growth. As the pandemic encroached, countries in the region acted to insulate themselves from the crisis.
It is clear that the road to recovery will be long and arduous. Individual countries in the region face a mixed economic outlook. However, different countries started to reopen their economies despite the risk of higher infection rates.
Paula is joined by Chiedza Madzima from Fitch Solutions, Greg Pearson from the Grit Real Estate Income Group, and moderated by Virusha Subban, from Baker McKenzie.
