Alberto Pamias specializes in corporate and growth strategy, business transformation, due diligence/M&A, marketing and sales strategies as well as operations and network strategy. Mr. Pamias has over 25 years of management consulting experience in the telecommunications and technology industries serving top Corporations and Governments around the world.

Mr. Pamias has advised leading Telecom, Media & Technology ("TMT") companies across their entire lifecycle and his expertise covers many regions including South America, Western and Eastern Europe, Russia and CIS countries, Middle East and Asia.

His involvement in numerous client assignments includes work in both developed and emerging markets. Mr. Pamias’ engagement in client projects often involves temporarily taking over complete CXO responsibilities, driving the whole process from strategy conceptualization to large scale implementation.

Mr. Pamias also served as CMO and Deputy CEO at Telefonica-O2 in one of its operations in Europe.

Mr. Pamias was part of the leadership team at Delta Partners, the TMT strategy consulting and investment banking boutique now integrated into FTI Consulting's TMT practice. Mr. Pamias started his career in AT Kearney and before joining Delta Partners, he worked at Oliver Wyman for more than 10 years and was a Managing Partner in a number of geographies where he drove the firm’s expansion into Eastern Europe, Russia, CIS countries and Asia.

Mr. Pamias is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

Relevant Experience:

  • Multimedia strategy definition for a major player in Central Europe with operations in 8 countries and implementation of the previous strategy across the group
  • Definition and implementation of NPD (New Product Development) processes across a regional telecom group
  • Deputy-CEO and Chief Marketing Officer in a mobile operator in Central Europe; definition of company strategy and full implementation of its commercial strategy as well as organizational build up
  • Revision of corporate positioning and bundle strategy for a mobile leading operator in one of the most competitive environments in Central Europe covering from single play to quadruple play; product portfolio re-definition
  • Strategy definition and implementation (including set-up of a joint venture, full marketing & sales/product plan and business plan) of a radically new content based MVNO business model in the mobile space for an incumbent mobile operator
  • Multimedia strategy definition for an incumbent in the most competitive European market; such strategy definition also includes all different European operations in the Group (7) as well as the fixed line sister company (fixed line incumbent)
  • Strategy plan for a newly convergent fixed-mobile operator
