Dr. Khare is an economist, who specializes in the areas of Financial, Industrial and Labor Economics, and Econometrics. He provides consulting services on complex economic and financial issues in legal disputes and other business matters.
Dr. Khare has considerable experience with class actions (e.g., securities, labor and employment, consumer fraud, antitrust etc.); transfer pricing related disputes; SEC/ DOJ investigations, and other litigation/ business disputes.
He has designed and supervised analyses leading to successful rebuttal of class certification claims in matters alleging securities and consumer fraud. The class certification related analyses that Dr. Khare has experience with include:

Dr. Khare also has substantial experience examining economic materiality, loss causation, and damage claims in class actions and other litigations. He supports counsel in mediation and settlement discussions.
He understands financial and economic issues related to cryptocurrency and cryptocurrency-backed assets and is currently performing research in this area.
Additionally, Dr. Khare provides consulting services for pay and compensation equity analysis, model validation, and risk analytics. He has experience developing and validating complex econometric models — time series (ARCH/ GARCH/ VAR), panel data, logistic regressions, and other models.
Dr. Khare obtained his PhD from UC Santa Barbara. His dissertation committee included Prof. R. Mehra (chair), known for his research on equity premium puzzle, Nobel Laureate Prof. F. Kydland (member) known for his research relating to the business cycles and the time consistency of economic policies, and Professor H. Bohn, known for his research on macroeconomic and policy issues.
Dr. Khare also holds CFA and CAIA designations.
