Chase Gill specializes in working with corporate clients on a variety of financial forecasting and operational improvement projects. Mr. Gill has diverse experience, including industry expertise in agriculture, automotive, and telecom, media and technology.
Mr. Gill worked as interim Senior Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (“FP&A”) and Treasurer of a private equity sponsored online retailer. In this role, he managed the annual budgeting process and led the development of financial models used in a variety of applications, including internal management and reporting, cash flow management, executive and board review and delivery to external constituents.
Mr. Gill’s project experience also includes working on the award-winning Peabody Energy engagement, where he assisted the largest privately-owned coal company in the world with long-term business planning and strategy. In this capacity, he developed a fully integrated three-statement model to project financial results, cash flows and the related liquidity for the debtors and the company on a global consolidated basis. The financial model was used to support financing and to measure covenants and the adequacy of the DIP facility size.
Mr. Gill’s additional experience includes building and maintaining 13-week cash flow models used for budgeting, performance and cash management for clients in the retail, agriculture and mining industries. He worked as an interim manager in the FP&A corporate planning group of a major hospitality company, maintaining the monthly cash flow forecast, improving the international tax forecast model and forecasting headcount and other payroll related expense. Mr. Gill also developed a production schedule forecasting model for a defense contractor that optimized the production scheduling process at multiple manufacturing facilities.
