Damilola Ojo is one of the leaders of the Analytics practice. Mr. Ojo is also the Head of Analytics Enablement for the Datafarm service line. He has over 15 years of consulting and industry experience supporting multiple clients in the U.S., Latin America, EMEA and South East Asia regions across industries like financial services, retail, public sector and with extensive focus on the Telecom, Media & Technology (“TMT”) industry.

Mr. Ojo has deep expertise in Data and Analytics strategy definition and setting up capabilities (organisation, technology, processes etc.) that accelerate value extraction from client data assets. He has acted as a trusted advisor and supported c-level executives including Chief Data Officers to set up high performance teams and data/technology ecosystems that have enabled the execution of multiple cross-functional use-cases and internal/external data monetization revenue growth. He has led various client engagements requiring conceptualization, design and delivery of scalable solutions in the intersection of big data engineering, ML/AI and cloud.

Previously, Mr. Ojo held senior positions in the UK and Ireland operations of SAS - the AI and ML solutions giant and with MTN - the largest mobile telecommunications operator in Africa. He was part of the leadership team at Delta Partners, the TMT strategy consulting and investment banking boutique now integrated into FTI Consulting's TMT practice.

Relevant Experience:

  • SME on IoT platform and vendor capabilities assessment for the largest smart city project in the MEA region
  • Technical enablement on the conceptualization, development and implementation of Quality of Experience Score (QES) for multiple U.S. operators (project delivery strategy, team configuration, solution architecture, technical development, production readiness and transition to support phase)
  • Defined and setup a Unified Data Layer (UDL) to combine big data sources from a group of telecoms, e-commerce, payments and digital services subsidiaries and delivered internal and external monetization use-cases
  • Defined the operating model and technology architecture for a human data platform for the UN Data for Development (D4D) program in collaboration with Digital Impact Alliance (DIAL) and Melinda Gates Foundation
  • Defined 5+ big data, BI and analytics strategy (organization, technology and governance/processes) and managed the execution for various clients in MEA and Latin America
  • Defined a group-wide Center of Excellence (COE) and Shared Services Center (SSC) for a large telco group in Africa, Middle-East and Eastern Europe
