About David
Dave Norkiewicz is a Managing Director in the Trial Services group of FTI Consulting’s Forensic and Litigation Consulting practice and is based in Chicago. Mr. Norkiewicz has more than 16 years of trial experience, and is the leader of the Trial Technology practice in Chicago. His areas of expertise include courtroom and war room technology; management of multi-district litigation; trial logistics; large-scale data conversion; as well as deposition video management and editing.
Mr. Norkiewicz has managed courtroom technology for over 70 trials nationwide, including multi-district, antitrust, patent, product liability and pharmaceutical litigation. His current responsibilities include managing on-site trial teams, preparation of trial databases for use in TrialMax®, and the seamless transition of cases to on-site trial teams.
Mr. Norkiewicz has worked in multiple state and federal jurisdictions across the United States. Representative clients include Arnold & Porter; Bartlit Beck Herman Palenchar & Scott; Mayer Brown; Jones Day; Kirkland & Ellis; and Williams & Connolly.
Mr. Norkiewicz began his career at FTI Consulting in 1995 as a graphics consultant serving FTI Consulting clients in developing demonstratives for use at hearings, arbitrations and trials. Before joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Norkiewicz worked for the Quaker Oats Company as a graphic artist, assisting in the production of in-house graphics for all the major brands of the Quaker Oats Company.
Mr. Norkiewicz holds a B.A. in fine arts-multimedia from Northern Illinois University. His notable case experience includes: FTC v. Staples/Office Depot, U.S. District Court, District of Columbia; Haltom v. Bayer Baycol, District Court, Nueces County Court at Law 4, Texas; Empire Blue Cross v.
