Dianne Halford is a Managing Director at FTI Consulting and is based in Brentwood, Tennessee. She is part of the Health Solutions segment. Ms. Halford has 30 years of experience in healthcare financial and related operational management. Her professional expertise includes general accounting, financial reporting, audit, accounts receivable valuation, cash forecasting & treasury management, reimbursement, debt restructuring, covenant compliance, external reporting to lenders & administrative agents, pension disclosure and funding, and self-insurance risk management.

Ms. Halford has financial leadership experience in integrated healthcare systems of various complexities, including for-profit, not-for-profit, religious affiliated and public facilities. Her senior leadership roles include private equity sponsored specialty providers. Her assignments have spanned the country, with concentrations in the Northeast, South and Midwest.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting in 2004, Ms. Halford’s work in healthcare industry began in 1987, serving as director of operational and financial analysis for a national catholic multihospital system. Ms. Halford then joined the largest private employer and not-for-profit healthcare system in Wisconsin as finance manager. She also served as the system’s corporate director of financial planning and reimbursement. She moved into the for-profit healthcare sector in 2001 as the controller for a 340-bed hospital in the Gulf Coast division of the nation’s largest for-profit healthcare system. She served as interim CFO at a U.S./Mexico border hospital and as CFO at a general, acute care hospital adjacent to the University of Arizona campus.

Since joining FTI Consulting, Ms. Halford has held various financial leadership positions including recent assignments as the Chief Financial Officer for a private long-term care provider, Chief Financial Officer for a private behavioral health system, Chief Accounting Officer for a community healthcare system, and Chief Financial Officer for a subsidiary of a national Catholic healthcare system. She has also worked at a regional medical center in Massachusetts, served as a corporate controller for a 3-hospital not-for-profit healthcare system in New York, controller for a full service, 331-bed hospital in Georgia, and as vice president of finance for a 673-bed hospital and integrated health system in Pennsylvania.
