Duncan Turner

Duncan Turner is a Senior Managing Director at FTI Consulting and is based in London. Duncan is part of the Corporate Finance & Restructuring practice. He has worked in financial restructuring since 2000 and specialises in advising lenders and borrowers on the refinancing and restructuring of debt facilities including raising new money, amending existing facilities and the equitisation of debt.

Duncan often advises on cross-border situations and has worked across Western Europe and in emerging markets in Europe, Central Asia and Africa. He has extensive experience in the listed arena. He has advised on the restructuring of multiple different financial instruments and structures including LBOs, project financings, large syndicated bank loans, private placement notes, guarantee facilities, trade finance and derivative instruments.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Duncan was a partner in PwC’s Financial Restructuring practice in London. He has also spent a year on secondment in RBS Leveraged Finance. Managing a portfolio of loans, his role included taking new loans to credit, undertaking dividend recapitalisations and restructuring underperforming credits.

Duncan is a Chartered Accountant and holds a degree in economics from the University of Cambridge.
