Jose del Valle’s primary specializes in leading the strategy consulting and investment banking for media companies and sports franchises to help our Telecom, Media & Technology (“TMT”) customers grow their business and manage their portfolio efficiently. Mr. del Valle has almost 20 years of experience managing media businesses at a global scale.

Mr. del Valle has wide international experience, running areas and businesses within Europe, Latin America and the U.S. He is now based in the Middle East.He was part of the leadership team at Delta Partners, the TMT strategy consulting and investment banking boutique now integrated into FTI Consulting's TMT practice.

During his career, Mr. del Valle held various roles at Telefonica including CEO of Telefonica Media in Latam, Global Director for Digital Home and Global Director for Terra-Lycos, among others. He was also responsible for managing the second largest infrastructure Pay TV and OTT company in Latin America, while also managing partnerships and content at a global scale from the U.S. In addition, he has held numerous roles related to strategy, M&A and business development.

Relevant Experience:

• Responsible for managing a USD$500 million revenue company with operations in 13 countries in Latin America

• Responsible for the development of seven TV FTA stations, while managing a multiregional DTH operation

• Responsible of an advertising and content production company in Latam, achieving an over budget performance for two consecutive fiscal years in an unstable economic and political context

• Development of growth media & sports business in European’s top telecom group, focusing on growth accelerators in core and adjacent business

• Contribution to achieve a major growth business that represented the company’s engine for growth

• Contribution to making a sustainable business in a volatile scenario

• Creation of a regional content production company that provided TV shows for 5 different countries

• Definition and build up of an advertising company that covered paid TV and OTT inventory

• Preparation of a regional OTT brand in Latam

• Implementation of a digital production facility that produced short formats with digital and TV talents
