Keith Cox

Keith Cox is a member of the Private Capital Advisory Services practice. Mr. Cox specializes in providing pre- and post-closing support, including due diligence, pre-close planning, performance improvement and merger integration to private equity firms and their portfolio companies in a wide range of industries. He has more than 30 years of investment banking and consulting experience.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Cox was the Vice President of Business Development of Private Equity at Hitachi Consulting (formerly Celerant Consulting), where he was responsible for developing and cultivating strategic relationships within the private equity community, serving global funds and select mid-sized funds in the United States. He supported due diligence and operational improvement activities throughout a private equity firm’s portfolio lifecycle, providing critical advice and partnering from target identification to exit.

Before that, Mr. Cox was a Managing Director at Citigroup Capital Strategies, where he directed middle market merger and acquisition advisory activities ranging from $20 to $300 million in transaction size. While there, he successfully initiated and executed more than 60 merger and acquisition transactions.
