Nancy Tseng specializes in advising private equity firms and global Fortune 500 companies during large-scale transitions to set strategic vision, establish new businesses, transform operations for profitable growth and convert deals into shareholder value.
Ms. Tseng’s experience spans the entire deal lifecycle, including deal strategy, due diligence, transaction readiness, mergers, separations and carve-outs, operating model design, leadership and talent strategy development, synergy management/value capture, and post-close transformation planning across industries in North America, South America, Asia and Europe.
Additionally, Ms. Tseng collaborates with companies to turnaround and grow businesses through technology implementation, data strategy, and operating model changes, including shared services, outsourcing and offshoring.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Ms. Tseng built and led West Monroe Partners’ M&A practice based in Los Angeles, including establishing and leading priority national accounts and firm-wide inclusion and diversity initiatives. She began her career with Booz Allen Hamilton evaluating technology companies, including being part of its joint venture with Lehman Brothers, and then joined Deloitte Consulting as a leader in the M&A practice to lead global, multi-billion dollar transactions and bolster the firm’s global M&A capabilities.
Ms. Tseng has been recognized for excellence throughout her career, including being the recipient of the Association of Management Consulting Firms’ Award for growth strategy, Deloitte’s Global Award for practice building and sales, Booz Allen’s Professional Excellence Award, and multiple client awards.
Ms. Tseng is regularly sought out for her market perspectives by industry publications and at conferences, such as TheStreet.com, Ellevate, the National Association of Corporate Directors (“NACD”), and the Women’s Private Equity Summit.
Ms. Tseng is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors, serves as Long-Range Planning Board Member at Segerstrom Center for the Arts Rising Leaders Council, and was previously a Board Member for the Orange County Stanford Alumni Association. She is conversational in Mandarin Chinese and has working knowledge of French.
