Natalie Quinn is a Senior Director in the Economic and Financial Consulting practice of FTI Consulting and is based in Vancouver, Canada.
A Chartered Accountant for more than 19 years, Ms. Quinn has experience in forensic accounting, corporate restructuring and as an investigating accountant. She began her career in corporate restructuring at KPMG and then specialised in the forensic accounting field from 2006 at McGrathNicol.
Ms. Quinn has been involved in a broad range of forensic engagements including dispute consulting, class action litigation, international arbitration, loss of profit claims, quantification of economic loss and valuations. She has also undertaken numerous investigations involving corruption, employee misconduct, fraud, misappropriation of assets and other forms of inappropriate behaviour in business.
Ms. Quinn has extensive experience across a wide range of industries, within Australia and overseas, including agriculture, automotive, consumer markets, distribution, education, financial services, government, hospitality, manufacturing, retail, construction and transport.
Ms. Quinn has assisted consulting and independent accounting experts with analysis and preparation of reports for proceedings in the Federal Court of Australia, the Supreme Court of Victoria, and Hong Kong International Tribunal, as well as assistance through negotiations, mediations and arbitrations.
Throughout her career, Ms. Quinn has assisted many large corporates such as Asahi, Coles, Theiss, Telstra and Qantas, and on matters involving regulators such as the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, and the Australia Taxation Office. High profile matters include the Timbercorp class action, Amcor/Visy class action, and the Black Saturday bushfire class action.
Ms. Quinn holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Monash University and a Graduate Certificate in Business Forensics from the University of Melbourne.
