Patrick Creighton is a Senior Managing Director in the Energy & Natural Resources sector within the Strategic Communications segment at FTI Consulting. He is based in Washington, D.C.
With nearly a decade of crisis and strategic communications experience in the oil and natural gas industry, Mr. Creighton develops and executes strategic communications and stakeholder engagement programs. His clients include public and private companies of all sizes who are active in the upstream, midstream and downstream as well as state and national trade associations.
Among a number of other front-page news assignments, Mr. Creighton served as FTI Consulting’s client engagement leader to the Producers for American Crude Oil Exports (PACE), an industry coalition created by sixteen of the largest independent exploration and production companies in the United States for the purposes of repealing the decades-old ban on crude oil exports. The ban was repealed in December of 2015, marking the single biggest change in U.S. energy policy in the past four decades.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Creighton served for several years as a communications and energy policy advisor to Members of Congress and as the spokesperson for a Washington, D.C.-based energy think tank.
A proud Philadelphian, he currently resides in Washington, D.C., with his wife and son.
