Scott Crawford is a Managing Director in the Transaction Services practice. Mr. Crawford has over 20 years of experience in strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, valuation assessment and organizational transformation. He has significant experience with joint ventures, financial planning and analysis, post-transaction transitions and merger integration.
Mr. Crawford’s specialized merger and acquisition skillset and project management experience includes acquisitions and growth, integration and transformation and divestitures, carve-outs and transitions. Much of this experience comes from his 13 years at Ardagh Group, formerly known as Rexam PLC, an $8 billion global consumer packaging leader operating 110 glass and metal manufacturing facilities in 22 countries. Rexam had been a $6 billion company, engaged in plastic and metal beverage packaging.
In regards to acquisitions and growth, Mr. Crawford completed a strategy to grow Rexam’s plastics packaging business as a complement to its existing metal and glass business by executing over $2 billion in acquisitions. While Finance Director at Rexam, he also managed the full integration across functional areas for Rexam’s Health Care Containers division, a business with 11 manufacturing sites located in the U.S., Mexico and France. Integration included transition services, IT SAP implementation, tracking and execution of synergy objectives.
While at Rexam, Mr. Crawford also led a process to refocus on the company’s core metal beverage packaging business and completed nine divestitures of approximately $2 billion. Transactions included the breakup and reorganization of business units, requiring extensive carve-out separation planning, stand-alone costing and estimation of synergies. Multiple supply agreements and transition services agreements across business units were necessary to support the new operations post-divestiture.
Prior to joining Ardagh Group, Mr. Crawford was a Partner in the Transaction Advisory Services practice of Ernst & Young.
