Seth Arnold is a Managing Director in the Turnaround & Restructuring practice and specializes in providing reorganization advisory services to under-performing companies. He has over 18 years of experience in cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, financial modeling, the preparation and review of business plans, strategic planning, turnaround and operational management. Mr. Arnold has industry experience in energy, construction, retail and consumer products, aerospace, textiles, transportation and media industries.
A select list of previous, non-power related engagements include the Tennis Foundation of Connecticut, Central Grocers, Phoenix Brands, Geo Specialty Chemicals, Colt Defense, Jack Cooper Trucking, Chicago Bridge & Iron, SP Fiber, DavCo Restaurants, Pillowtex, Westwood One Media, Tecumseh Products, Verizon and W.R. Grace.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Arnold was a Director at Conway MacKenzie and before that, was a Managing Director at CDG Group, which was acquired by FTI Consulting in 2017.
While at CDG Group, Mr. Arnold focused on providing services to middle-market companies with a particular focus on power and energy engagements. He worked on merchant and contracted generation, including both baseload and peaking assets, which utilized fuels ranging from coal, geothermal, natural gas, pumped storage, run of the river and wind for stakeholders including AES, Brookfield, Calpine, Clipper Windpower, Cogentrix, Emera, NEGT and NextEra Energy.
Prior to CDG Group, Mr. Arnold was a Vice President at Ernst & Young’s Corporate Finance practice, where he represented stakeholders in Mirant Energy, Pillowtex and Worldcom.
Mr. Arnold holds a B.S. in accounting from Bentley University and an M.B.A. with a concentration in finance from New York University. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
