Travis Burggraf is a Senior Director in FTI Consulting’s Forensic & Litigation Consulting segment and is based in Denver. Specifically, Mr. Burggraf is a member of the Construction Solutions practice focusing on project advisory and owner’s representation on projects of varying size and complexity for clients within the healthcare industry. Mr. Burggraf’s background includes General Contracting, Mechanical Contracting and Construction Consulting. Mr. Burggraf’s professional responsibilities have included owner’s representation, project management, expert testimony support, project controls, system performance improvement, capital cost accounting, change management, labor productivity analysis and earned value management. Mr. Burggraf has experience serving the healthcare, commercial, petrochemical and power generation/transmission industries.
Throughout his career, Mr. Burggraf has been a part of large, logistically challenging and schedule intensive projects which have required a systematic and collaborative approach to planning and execution. He has experience developing new, practical methods to carry-out standard industry practices in order to meet the individual project needs. This often requires diligent coordination amongst the parties at stake in the given project including General Contractors, Construction Managers, Architects, Engineers, Clinical Supervisors and Executive Leadership.
Mr. Burggraf holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science & Technology with an emphasis in Construction Management from Illinois State University. He is a member of The Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering International, American Society of Healthcare Engineering, Lean Construction Institute; Colorado Community of Practice and Colorado Association of Healthcare Engineering and Directors.
Additionally, Mr. Burggraf has provided guest lectures on the topics of Contract Risk Management and Forensic Schedule Analysis to Colorado State University’s Construction Management program.
