FTI Consulting Expands Debt Advisory Offering With Addition of Senior ABL Expert
London, 7 July 2026 — FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN) today announced the appointment of asset-based lending (“ABL”) expert Chris Hawes as a Managing Director in the firm’s Debt Advisory practice within the Corporate Finance segment, further strengthening its ability to help clients access flexible funding solutions in an evolving financing market.
In his role at FTI Consulting, Mr. Hawes will advise companies, investors and sponsors on ABL, receivables financing and other trade and working capital financing solutions, helping clients raise the capital they need to fund growth, M&A, refinancings and transformation plans.

Mr. Hawes, who is based in London, brings more than 30 years of experience in ABL, receivables and trade finance. He has extensive expertise structuring complex facilities, leading cross-border transactions and supporting businesses across a broad range of sectors including pharmaceuticals, consumer goods and manufacturing.
Before joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Hawes was a Managing Director in the Debt and Capital Advisory practice at PwC. Prior to that, he held senior roles at M&G plc, HSBC and NatWest, where he established and led ABL and receivables teams.
