FTI Consulting Expands Financial Services Practice with Appointment of Gaming Compliance Expert

Washington, D.C., Jan. 16, 2025 — FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN) today announced the appointment of Tom Anapolis as a Senior Advisor in the Financial Services practice within the firm’s Forensic and Litigation Consulting segment.

Mr. Anapolis, who is based in New York, is an experienced gaming industry regulatory compliance executive and has more than 40 years of experience in organizational and program management, process improvement, labor relations, regulatory oversight and contract negotiations.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Anapolis was the Director of the Division of Gaming for the New York State Gaming Commission, where he was responsible for the launch of brick-and-mortar and mobile sports wagering, as well as internal control compliance. In his role at FTI Consulting, he will help clients in the gaming industry with statutory and regulatory compliance, internal control review, and anti-money laundering and responsible gaming control frameworks.

Mr. Anapolis has also served as the Executive Director and Chief of Operations at the New York State United Teachers, a labor union that represents working and retired employees from New York’s schools, colleges and healthcare facilities, as well as the Deputy Mayor and Chief of Operations for the city of Schenectady, N.Y.
