FTI Consulting Expands Global Risk and Investigations Practice in Latin America

Washington, D.C., April 8, 2020 — FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN) today announced the appointment of Michael Cullen as a Managing Director in the Global Risk and Investigations Practice within the Forensic and Litigation Consulting segment. Mr. Cullen will be based in Bogotá, Colombia.

Mr. Cullen specializes in complex, cross-border deals, disputes and arbitrations in Latin America. He works with clients to investigate, understand and resolve regulatory, operational, legal, political, social and reputational issues and challenges.

“Michael draws on a combination of expert witness work, consulting, investigative fact-finding and reputation management experience to assist clients in developing strategies and tactics that help them respond to and manage risks and crises in their Latin American operations,” said Andrew Rosini, Leader of the Global Risk and Investigations Practice at FTI Consulting. “Michael’s appointment continues our investment to offer clients with support in the region that is connected to FTI Consulting’s global platform.”

Mr. Cullen’s experience includes leading the largest anti-competition investigation in Colombian history on behalf of a U.S. manufacturing client; providing an expert report for external counsel on the corruption; advising a petrochemical company on political, social and reputational risks globally during a multibillion-dollar acquisition; and overseeing an investigation into alleged corruption in the region by a pharmaceutical company.
