Arya Mohanty

Arya Mohanty specialises in digital infrastructure transaction advisory involving both pre-deal — investment thesis creation and validation, opportunity scouting, commercial diligence, business plan review — and post-deal value creation engagements.

Arya is highly specialised in the telecom, media and technology (‘TMT’) sector across digital infrastructure asset classes including fibre, data centres, subsea, towers and adjacencies such as managed Wi-Fi, operations support systems (‘OSS’) and business support systems (‘BSS’) wholesale aggregation platforms.

Arya has worked closely with major European infrastructure funds, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, financial institutions and private equity clients, as well as with M&A teams of leading telcos and portfolio companies of investor clients.

Arya has an M.Sc. from London Business School, as well as an M.Sc. in Mathematics and a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from BITS Pilani, Goa.

Relevant Experience:

• Led the business plan review for the successful refinancing of one of the largest alternative networks in the UK on behalf of the lenders
• Led the commercial due diligence and business plan review of an AI and high-performance computing (‘HPC’) data centre in the Nordics
• Led the commercial due diligence and business plan review of a global subsea operator for a sovereign wealth fund
• Led an opportunity scouting exercise for a pension fund exploring investment in retail co-location data centres
• Led the go-to-market strategy of a European managed Wi-Fi business exploring M&A for market entry
• Led due diligence for a B2B fibre company acquiring a wholesale company; involved synergy analysis and high-level operating free cash flow valuation
