About Bastian
Bastian Gottschling is a Managing Director at FTI Consulting, based in Frankfurt. Bastian advises companies at the C-suite level and supports law firms and their clients as a party-appointed expert in international arbitration.
Bastian has 20 years of experience in economic and financial consulting. He also has deep expertise in the energy sector, with a strong focus on expert reports for arbitration proceedings. He regularly works as an expert in damage assessment and other complex valuation matters, as well as on energy industry-related topics. Before joining FTI Consulting, he was a partner at a British consulting firm, where he was particularly active in the London dispute market.
Bastian holds an M.Phil. in Economics from Queens’ College, University of Cambridge and a B.Sc. in Economics from the London School of Economics. He also holds a Certificate in ESG Investing from the CFA Institute.
