Colleen Yushchak has more than 25 years of experience guiding companies through complex technology and legal challenges. Ms. Yushchak specializes in providing strategic consulting for designing, implementing and operationalizing global privacy and compliance programs.

Ms. Yushchak is a proven advisor to executive leadership on regulatory risk, governance and data protection strategy. She has deep expertise in GDPR, CCPA, PIPL, LGPD, EU AI Act and other active and emerging global privacy regulations. She is recognized for her ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical, scalable programs that align with business objectives while reducing legal and reputational risk.

Ms. Yushchak’s practice is centered on leading enterprise-wide privacy initiatives, including regulatory gap assessments, data mapping and data records of processing, data protection/privacy impact assessments, privacy rights automation, third-party risk management, tracking technology compliance and litigation, AI regulatory compliance and policy and procedure development. She is skilled in building governance models and advising on privacy program structure and resources that connect legal, IT, Security, HR and product teams. She provides strategic support to organizations in building business cases for privacy investment, helping leadership teams to secure necessary funding, staffing and technology resources to sustain effective and mature privacy programs.

Ms. Yushchak also brings extensive experience implementing and customizing privacy technology platforms, designing automated workflows and system integrations that connect privacy tools with existing enterprise systems to drive efficiency, standardization and scalable compliance operations. Ms. Yushchak’s experience spans a broad range of industries, including healthcare, retail (including grocery), automotive, real estate, financial services, fast food/quick service restaurants, sports and entertainment, utilities, manufacturing and education, enabling the delivery of tailored privacy and compliance solutions that reflect each organization’s unique regulatory landscape, operational structure and risk profile.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Ms. Yushchak served as the Global Data Privacy Practice Lead at a global consulting firm where she successfully led large, multidisciplinary teams through comprehensive, end-to-end readiness activities.
