Luke Goodman

Luke Goodman has more than 10 years of global experience in financial, performance, transactions and turnaround initiatives across a variety of industries. Mr. Goodman is an expert in interim management, value creation and strategic initiatives, accounting and reporting, and financial forecasting.

Mr. Goodman specializes in interim financial planning and analysis (“FP&A”), accounting and reporting, financial assessments, three-statement financial modeling, financial consolidation, five-year strategic planning and statistical analysis. He works across a variety of industries, including financial services, cryptocurrency, healthcare, manufacturing, utilities and hospitality. His additional reporting expertise includes establishing procedures and packages across diverse areas, including KPI dashboards, management reporting, three-statement modeling, plant performance tracking and payroll analytics.

At FTI Consulting, Mr. Goodman has primarily served post-transaction private equity-owned clients in interim finance roles, leading the creation of strategic financial plans and developing and implementing new FP&A processes, with a special emphasis on three-statement modeling.

Most recently, Mr. Goodman served as the finance leader for a billion-dollar company following its acquisition by a large PE firm, where he established the finance and reporting functions from the ground up. His responsibilities included developing the long-range plan, reporting structure, budgeting and forecasting processes, and accounting operations across multiple sub-entities and systems.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Goodman held multiple consulting and finance roles, advising clients on financial modeling, operational improvements and providing transaction support.

Relevant Experience:

• Served as the Interim Vice President of Finance at a half-billion-dollar cryptocurrency mining company responsible for building financial processes and the FP&A function, along with supporting operations, creating business cases for expansion, and leading day-to-day financial operations
• Led FP&A projects in the creation of five-year strategic plans, management reporting, three statement models, cash flows and KPI dashboards
• Developed and institutionalized forecasting and budgeting processes, including enhanced procedures and reporting frameworks to drive data-driven financial planning
• Established core financial infrastructure and prepared comprehensive five-year strategic forecast to position a healthcare tech start-up for potential transaction
