Paul Harlond

Paul Harlond has more than 18 years of experience advising stakeholders in corporate turnaround, restructuring, and formal insolvency. Paul’s experience covers more than 250 client engagements across a range of industries in Australia and the UK, including financial services, construction, property, education and manufacturing.

Paul is a Registered Liquidator who is well regarded for delivering solutions to clients in the most complex and time critical situations through the combination of his technical restructuring and formal insolvency knowledge, broad commercial experience and strategic thinking.

Paul also has significant experience supporting retail banks, other financiers and stakeholders by preparing complex independent business reviews in supporting the assessment of both existing and proposed funding facilities. His experience extends to specialist advisory roles, including safe harbour assignments.

With real hands-on experience in managing large scale engagements for both ASX-listed and large private companies, Paul has the experience and skills to guide directors, companies, financiers and other stakeholders through periods of financial uncertainty, in facilitating, turnaround, restructuring and formal insolvency solutions.

Relevant Experience:

• Appointed Receiver and Manager of Basslink a major Australian infrastructure asset; trading on the business and running a competitive sale of business/recapitalisation campaign
• Appointed as agent for the Mortgagee over a number of agricultural and residential real estate properties for major Australian banks
• Appointed Liquidator over CDC Investment Group, a large commercial plumbing contractor
