Richard Sunderland

Richard Sunderland is Co-Head of FTI Consulting’s Real Estate Strategic Communications segment. Richard joined FTI Consulting in 2007 and has more than 25 years’ experience in communications, the last 20 of which have been focused across all aspects of the real estate and the built environment universe.

Based in London, Richard has significant domestic and international experience in providing communications advice for IPOs, M&A, financial calendar, fund management, private equity real estate and crisis communications, as well as ongoing corporate and consumer brand building programmes, restructuring communications and development support.

Richard’s clients include AEW, AXA IM Alts, Azora, Battersea Power Station Development Company, Custodian Property Income REIT, DFI, Europa Capital, Henderson Park, Henry Boot, Madison International Realty, M7 Real Estate, Oxford Properties, SEGRO, Sellar and Sirius Real Estate.

Prior to a career in public relations, Richard served in the British Army.
