Rob Parker

Rob Parker is a Managing Director in FTI Consulting’s Healthcare Risk Management & Advisory practice within the Forensic & Litigation Consulting segment. Mr. Parker specializes in healthcare operations, regulatory compliance and process improvement, with experience across health plans, pharmacy benefit management organizations and public health programs, including Medicare Parts C and D and Medicaid. Mr. Parker helps clients improve transactional workflows (e.g., prior authorization, appeals and grievances) enhance care management, mitigate operational risk and align compliance frameworks with evolving Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (“CMS”) requirements.

Mr. Parker has led large-scale advisory engagements focused on care management optimization, compliance remediation and CMS program audit support. He has extensive experience executing Independent Validation Audits (“IVAs”), developing AI use cases for operational efficiency and guiding organizations through complex regulatory transitions. His approach emphasizes collaboration, strategic planning and measurable performance improvement, enabling clients to achieve sustainable outcomes in dynamic healthcare environments.

Before joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Parker served as a Director in the Health Industries Advisory practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers Advisory Services LLC, where he advised leading health plans and pharmacy benefit managers (“PBMs”) on compliance and operational transformation initiatives. He began his career in public policy and regulatory analysis, building a foundation that informs his current work at the intersection of healthcare delivery and policy.

Mr. Parker earned his J.D., cum laude, from George Mason University School of Law, an M.A. in Public Policy from Stony Brook State University and a B.A. in Political Science from Colgate University. He is a member of the New York State Bar and is recognized for his ability to lead high-performing teams and foster stakeholder consensus across complex organizations.
