About Robie
Robie Wilcox has over 28 years of revenue cycle experience, and has worked with all aspects of the Revenue Cycle in physician practices, community health systems and integrated health systems.
Ms. Wilcox has served in a leadership capacity in both acute and ambulatory business office environments for large healthcare organizations. She has extensive experience with revenue cycle optimization and redesign. She led a task force to create a proactive denials management and prevention program that resulted in a significant reduction in their overall claim denial rate. She has also used automation to improve the overall performance of the Cash Applications team by implementing Expanded Data Capture Lockbox, resulting in improved quality and operational efficiency.
Ms. Wilcox also has experience managing Patient Access and physician practice front desk operations. She has led various initiatives to optimize front-end processes such as centralized scheduling, registration, financial clearance and referral management to ensure best practice performance metrics were achieved.
Additionally, Ms. Wilcox has worked in a consulting capacity as a trusted advisor for her healthcare clients. In this role, she assisted with system implementation projects, conducted revenue cycle assessments and led multiple revenue cycle transformation projects. She also served as the interim Director of Revenue Cycle for various organizations to assist with improvement opportunities and provide day-to-day operational oversight.
Ms. Wilcox holds a B.A. in Psychology from Marshall University.
