About Roman
Roman Gültlinger has more than a decade of experience providing financial, accounting and economic advice, typically in the context of international arbitration or litigation. Mr. Gültlinger has prepared expert reports focusing on the quantification of damages in post-M&A disputes, assessments of lost profits and wasted costs, and advice relating to accounting matters.
Mr. Gültlinger has worked on matters before various courts and in arbitrations conducted under the rules of ICC, ICSID, SCC, UNCITRAL, LCIA, DIS and VIAC. He has also served as an expert witness and given oral evidence in a VIAC arbitration. In addition, his experience spans a broad range of dispute types — including breach of contract, post-M&A, joint venture and gas pricing matters — across industries such as energy, automotive, construction, healthcare and manufacturing.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Gültlinger held positions in Alvarez & Marsal’s Disputes practice and in the Valuation & Strategy group at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He holds an M.Phil. with distinction in Finance from the University of Cambridge and a B.Sc. in Business Engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst ("CFA").
