FTI Consulting Appoints Regulatory Expert to Financial Services Practice

Washington, D.C., Dec. 9, 2024 — FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN) today announced the appointment of regulatory, risk and transformation expert Dana Twomey as a Managing Director in the Financial Services practice within the firm’s Corporate Finance & Restructuring segment.

Ms. Twomey, who is based in Chicago, has more than a decade of experience in the financial services industry, with expertise in regulatory compliance, risk remediation, product implementation and business growth strategy. In her role at FTI Consulting, she will help clients in the banking sector implement transformative strategies, proactive risk and compliance programs and new technologies to enhance their business models.

Ms. Twomey has extensive expertise related to the Bank Secrecy Act and anti-money laundering regulations and has worked with clients to develop risk and compliance programs to adhere to the evolving regulatory landscape. Prior to joining FTI Consulting, she was a Director at West Monroe Partners, where she served as the Head of Financial Services Risk & Compliance and focused on strategic and operational issues, compliance management and business growth initiatives.

Ms. Twomey’s appointment follows the recent addition of Jean-Werner de T’Serclaes as Leader of the firm’s Financial Services practice in EMEA, and David Schiff, Caitlin Holmes and Mark Sexton as Senior Managing Directors in the Financial Services practice in the U.S. The recent appointments strengthen the firm’s ability to support a variety of client needs within the banking industry, including revenue growth, operational improvements, regulatory compliance and risk preparedness.
